| Dosing
/ Filling |
| Software function
present in some types of weighing instruments. This mode performs precise weighing
of load for the reference mass. In some solutions it is possible to determine
the thresholds for measured mass. It is very important to have the filters (reaction
time and mass increase) properly adjusted when working in dosing / filling mode. |

| Sensitivity drift |
| Small change of indication of
weighing instrument caused by change of external conditions, like: temperature,
time, wearing out of elements. |

| New
Approach Directives |
Twenty
five directives determining the basic requirements which should be met by instruments
introduced to market of European Community. The manufacturer must determine which
of all directives refer to a product and should include these directives when
designing the product. Directives of New Approach refer to three types of
non-automatic weighing instruments: - EMC
Directive (Electromagnetic Compatibility); - LVD
Directive (Low Voltage Electrical Equipment); - NAWI
Directive (Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments). |

| Dryling profiles |
Determine the way of drying of
sample In moisture analyzers with graphic display: - Mild profile: slow but
steady reaching set temperature with reference to set time (time in which the
set temperature is to be reached). - Step profile: determining two temperature
thresholds (so called steps) for drying sample, where the second step is the upper
limit for drying procedure. Moisture analyzer WPS 50SX requires to set the time
of temperature increase in each of the steps. - Standard profile: lamps warm
the drying chamber steadily and in the final stage the heating is activated periodically.
- Fast profile: fastest heating of sample with full power of halogens. |
