GLP (Good Laboratory practice)
The aim of Good Laboratory Practice is promoting quality and reliability of obtained measuring results from the moment of planning till maintaining and storing the data and reports so that it would be possible to view and trace all the process. Application of these rules has been formally ordered in 1981 by Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.
Grains [GN]
Measuring unit outside SI group, present in precise laboratory weighing instruments: 1 GN = 15,4323 g.
This measuring unit is not allowed to be present in verified weighing instruments.
Gross (G or B)
Value of load placed on the weighing instrument, when the weighing instrument or tare application device are not in use.
